Rossmore Furniture was recently awarded the Fusion Stamp of approval from Intertrade Ireland for its involvement in cross border research and development. Intertrade Ireland promote cross border cooperation between industry and academic institutions with a view to fostering greater trade and innovation.

The programme at the centre of the Rossmore Furniture / Intertrade Ireland Fusion Project was carried out in cooperation of academic experts from the University of Ulster. The project aimed to develop an online bespoke furniture ordering system integrated with back end manufacturing. A tangible example of this would be a consumer adjusting a bookcase to personal requirements (in terms of colour, materials, height, width and depth). In light of the substantial progress taken along this route, Intertrade Awarded Rossmore the Fusion Company Stamp. Further development in relation to the project is expected in the coming months.
